What we take responsibility for.
We are appointed as interior architects. The scope can run from concept through installation, or begin at technical design when another office has already set the shell. We do not sell a catalogue. The four pillars below are the commissions we know how to finish in Lagos, Abuja, and the wider West African market.
commercial
Commercial spaces
Retail floors, workplaces, and rooms where a company has to think in public.
A commercial interior has to survive restocking, a Monday full of meetings, and a client who arrives unannounced. We design retail environments that can be refilled without destroying the architecture, and workplaces planned around the way Nigerian teams actually meet. Corporate innovation hubs need honest acoustics, daylight that survives a deep floor plate, and a brand presence that does not depend on a foam logo behind reception. Typical scope includes test-fits, workplace guidelines, joinery for reception and collaboration, lighting design, and the furniture schedule. On Victoria Island, and in the tech addresses spreading through Lagos and Abuja, we also plan power, the acoustic line between an engineering floor and a board room, and a visitor sequence that protects the working rooms. Corporate workspace fit-outs in West Africa fail when the drawing ignores the inverter. We draw the inverter into the lighting from the start, so the room does not change character at three in the afternoon.
residential
Residential enclaves
Coastal villas, penthouse restorations, and houses with more than one generation.
Bespoke residential work in Nigeria is a plan for several lives at once. Coastal villas on Banana Island and the Lekki waterfront take salt air seriously. Penthouse restorations in Ikoyi inherit someone else's structure and have to feel inevitable anyway. Multi-generational estates in Asokoro and Maitama hold principals, children, parents in residence, and staff. Each of them needs a dignified route through the day. We design the joinery, the kitchens, the dressing rooms, and the rooms guests remember. Materials are chosen for humidity, for the person who will maintain them, and for the quality of evening light. Where a family wants art, we plan the wall, the hanging system, and the light before we plan the sofa. Staff circulation is drawn, not hoped for. A house that only works when the help is invisible has been drawn carelessly.
hospitality
Hospitality and culinary architecture
Restaurants, lounges, and hotel rooms that still feel considered when they are full.
A restaurant is a mood, and it is also a service corridor, a pass, a bar that can be worked on a full Saturday, and a chair that survives three seatings. We design mood-driven dining rooms, lounge ergonomics, and luxury hotel public space with the same attention: acoustics, lighting scenes, and a material palette that still looks deliberate after a busy season. The photograph of the empty room is the least interesting test. Kitchen planning is coordinated with the chef and the services engineer. We care about the sightline from the door, the noise of the bar against the tables, and the difference between a banquette that looks generous and one that can be served. Lighting is specified as scenes, from lunch to the last table, on a control system the floor manager can actually use. Finishes are chosen for cleaning at midnight, not only for the opening night.
institutional
Institutional mastery
Private learning rooms and public rooms that people are willing to be in.
Private schools, foundation houses, clinics, and civic rooms ask for durability, clear wayfinding, and a calm that does not look cheap. We bring the same millwork standard to a learning environment as we do to a residence, because students and visitors can tell when a room was an afterthought. Public impact, for us, means a building people are willing to remain in after the ceremony is over. We plan for maintenance staff, for assemblies, for rooms that must be reconfigured on a Friday, and for materials that can be repaired in Lagos or Abuja rather than reordered from another continent. Acoustic targets are written down. Storage is drawn at the same time as the reading room, because a beautiful library with no place for the chairs becomes a corridor by the second term.
